Bubble Pro is a bubble-popping game. The player pops glossy, speckled bubbles that look like hard-shell candy dots with an arrow shooter.
That said, the score the player earns to the lower right of the playfield doesn't help their progress as much as their rating in the upper-right area. They must acquire a specific rating that shows they have improved from a beginner-level to a professional-level player. If they lose, the game decreases their current rating, which makes it harder for them to achieve professional status.
The player creates clusters of three or more connected matching bubbles with color-matched, non-swappable projectiles. The bubbles pop to reveal smaller, disappearing ones. Bubble Pro allows the player to customize their experience in the setting area by difficulty level (i.e., Easy, Regular or Hard). For example, with Easy mode, they only need to try to pop bubbles in five different colors. While in Hard mode, they must try to pop seven different ones.
The game provides a specific number of penalty-free misses in the lower-left area before the player receives an extra row of bubbles on the field as a penalty. For example, it supplies six misses with Easy mode and only four misses with Hard. After the penalty, the game decreases the available ones.
