Bubble Pop Butterfly is a fantasy, butterfly-themed, bubble-popping game that features stunning artwork and peaceful music. In each level, a player removes bubbles from connected rows of mixed bubbles that slide down from the top of the playfield. They must match a projectile in a ring shooter to two or more connected bubbles on the field to pop the bubbles.
The ring shooter contains two projectiles. It also displays the number of available projectiles. The player uses the next projectile or swaps it with the second one. The ring shooter also features a laser-style targeting line. The player can direct the line straight at a target or project it off a side wall. Any bubbles beneath the ones they target also fall and pop.
Bubble Pop Butterfly helps the player by displaying the complete pattern of bubbles at the start of a level. It also supplies the player with boosters and other bubble-popping tools, including a booster that wipes out a large area with one shot, a booster that supplies a laser to cut through bubbles, a booster that takes out a row of bubbles with electricity and a bubble that releases a firefly that pops a random bubble.�
When the player does well, the remaining projectiles pop like fireworks. They receive points, coins and stars as rewards. After so many levels, they also receive a treasure chest that contains money or boosters.
