Bubble Meadow is a bubble-popping game. Across levels, the player helps a happy animal pop bubbles hanging in patterns from a thin, yellow frame in a meadow filled with green grass and white flowers. The player's goals are to pop all the bubbles per level and earn the highest possible scores.
The bubbles contain natural elements, such as butterflies, blossoms, clovers, droplets and lightning. The animal's cart is filled with a limited number of matching bubble projectiles, as shown via a number on the side of the cart.
The player can swap the projectiles at any time by selecting the vehicle. They shoot at a pattern by selecting a target. The animal then tosses the matching bubble projectiles in the selected direction.
The bubbles only pop in clusters of three or more color-matched ones. That said, any non-matching bubbles connected to only the cluster also pop. Unlike similar games, this one doesn't perform a non-matching avalanche drop.
Bubble Meadow offers a casual play experience with some challenges. For example, the player might need to prompt the character to prepare a future shot by tossing a non-matching projectile at the pattern.
The projectiles also act like balls. Although a ball bounce from the side of the frame allows for angled shots, a bubble ball can also bounce from the top of the frame and then disappear off the screen. As a result, the player must always target bubbles unless attempting angled side shots.
