Bubble Fall is a bubble-popping game with a unique twist on classic bubble-shooter play. The game arranges a mix of connected spheres in a pattern on a wooden suspension bridge in a lush, forested area. The player targets spheres using a golden, laser-guided targeting line attached to a ring shooter that holds two projectiles. They must shoot one of these projectiles at two or more connected, color-matched spheres.
Although the game refers to the spheres as bubbles, it's important to note that they're more like plastic balls. Instead of popping when hit or as they roll down the bridge toward the shooter, they roll like plastic balls until they pop near the bottom of the screen. When they pop, they make pleasant piano and harp sounds. Booster bubbles also pop during play.
Bubble Fall offers a variety of boosters, including a bomb that removes all the bubbles in one large area and a rocket that displaces a long ribbon of bubbles. The player can direct the boosters with the laser in a straight line or at an angle off a side wall. That said, they don't need boosters to remove large swaths of bubbles. They only need to target a single bubble connected to two or more matching bubbles above other bubbles. Any bubbles below the connected ones roll to the bottom of the screen.
