Bubble Cloud is a hypercasual bubble-popping game. In a summertime field of grass and flowers, the player's primary goals are to pop bubble balls and earn stars through their actions.
The game features a central clear balloon bubble that contains a star. This area acts like a post. It's surrounded by a wheel made of mixed bubbles in a pattern. The pattern changes with each level. The player earns the most stars when they pop all the bubbles around the post first. If they accidentally pop the balloon, they lose a star. They can track the collected stars on a star progress bar in the upper-left corner.
The player can only pop clusters of three or more matching bubbles with a projectile bubble of the same color. They can target a cluster with their device cursor or create an extendable arrow aiming line. After they hit the wheel with a projectile, it spins clockwise or counterclockwise.
Bubble Cloud doesn't offer an automatic projectile swap ability. It also doesn't remove projectiles shot away from the wheel pattern. Instead, a projectile bubble bounces off invisible side and top surfaces until it either hits and sticks to the wheel or pops at the top or bottom of the field.
If the player needs to start over or even skip a difficult level, they can use buttons at the upper-right corner. That said, they can only skip a level by viewing an ad video. They must also view ads to use boosters found in the lower-right corner.
