Brick Breaker Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa Cat is a brick-breaking game that celebrates adorable animals like Cocoa (i.e., the Japanese munchkin cat known as the Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa cat), the "Dubidubidu" song and related and unrelated memes. The player's goal is to remove patterns of blocks from each level using balls and a paddle while various meme pictures and videos play below the brick-breaking field. Some of the images show off cute animals and others show sad topics.
The game starts out with a dark blue background and green blocks in a unique pattern. The player uses a horizontal paddle to release and bounce balls. They start out with one ball that they direct toward the pattern. They can only move the paddle to the left or right. If indestructible stone blocks are in the way, they direct the ball toward the side walls to angle and bounce it around the stones.�
The player then waits for the game to generate and drop blue blocks marked with balls. When they touch these falling blocks with the paddle, the game generates three additional balls in the same position as the first one, wherever it is within the pattern. Once those balls hit and destroy blocks, the game generates blue blocks that multiply all the balls by three.
Over time, Brick Breaker Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa Cat generates enough blue blocks to overflow the playfield with balls and destroy every brick. The player can also collect dropping red heart lives with the paddle.
