Bouncy Motors is a driving-focused, side-scrolling platformer that requires a player to successfully navigate a vehicle that features slightly bouncy, soft-body physics along geometric platforms and other surfaces. The game is similar to JellyCar. The player can make the attempt on their own in a singleplayer mode or challenge a friend in two-player mode.
The game features two main play options (Levels and Endless Chill). With Levels, the player attempts to navigate obstacles without touching two-tone pink/red, diagonally striped structures that form ground under floating platforms and high walls at the ends of platforms. Common obstacles in the way include gaps between platforms, moving platforms and uneven surfaces. If the player reaches the black, finish flag at the end of a level, they unlock the next one and receive cash based on the time it took for them to finish. The shortest time results in the highest amount. With Endless Chill, the player tries to drive as far as possible along rolling hills, up and over sharp peaks and across jagged chasms. They earn a small amount of money based on distance.
Bouncy Motors also allows the player to use their cash to randomly unlock and buy vehicle and wheel skins.
