Boom Land Lite is a demolition puzzle game that requires a player to think about real-world physics. The player is presented with 36 levels set in scenes across three environments.
Within each landscape, the player finds unique buildings constructed with common construction materials, such as brick, glass, wood and metal. They must destroy these buildings using logic, rules of physics and different strategies. Some materials take extra explosives or don't break. For example, wood requires more power than glass. Metal doesn't break at all.
The game provides sticks of dynamite, bags of gunpowder and cannon ball bombs as the primary explosives. The number available at any time appears as white dots at the lower corner of icons representing each type. The player can place dynamite anywhere or drop powder on something from above and explode them instantly. Cannon balls have fuses that cause delayed explosions. The game also provides crates that contain additional explosives.
When the player successfully destroys materials, a gauge at the bottom left corner of the screen fills with energy. If they win, they receive points and up to three stars at the end of the level. If they fail by not filling at least 90% of the gauge, they must try again or watch an advertisement to skip to the next level.
