Boeing Flight Simulator 3D allows a player to take control of a commercial airplane as a pilot who must complete certain flying tasks, such as flying through white frames in the air and transporting and dropping off passengers at destination airports. With every successful trip, the player receives access to additional airports and cash and coins to pay for fuel and plane upgrades.
This simulator doesn't display a cockpit. Instead, the player uses floating tools in the foreground of outdoor scenes and exterior shots of the plane. The game gives the player the ability to change camera views to see the plane, runway and other environments from different perspectives. It also supplies bright green guide lines in the sky to show the correct route that they must take to reach their destination.
Boeing Flight Simulator 3D requires that the player use a keyboard to direct the plane up, down, left and right while keeping an eye on the artificial horizon bubble or altitude indicator and fuel gauge. Otherwise, the player uses their mouse or touch device to make adjustments, such as sliding the thrust levers to accelerate and decelerate and pressing the buttons for the landing gears and brake.
How to play:
Accelerate and lift the plane's nose to get off the ground. Make up, down, left and right adjustments to steady the plane. Pass through the white frames while staying on the green route. When within view of a destination airport, decelerate and use the landing gear and brake.
Controls:
Keyboard: To tilt the nose down, press the W or Up Arrow key. To tilt the nose up, press the S or Down Arrow key. To tilt or fly left or right, press the A or Left Arrow or D or Right Arrow key, respectively.
Mouse: To adjust the thrust levers, position the cursor on one, press and hold down the left button, and then slide the mouse so that the cursor slides the levers up or down. To use the landing gears or brake, click the corresponding button.
Mobile: To adjust the levers, position the cursor on one, and then slide the tip of a finger or stylus across the screen or trackpad. To use the landing gears or break, tap the corresponding button.
