Blumgi Slime is an arcade game that features a happy anthropomorphic, gum-drop-shaped ball of slime trying to beat obstacle courses. In tropical settings across 30 worlds and 150 levels, the player helps the character traverse platforms to reach finish lines by using precision timing.
The game transitions the player to a new world after every five completed levels. The player can choose to play alone in 1 Player mode or against someone else in 2 Players competitive mode. If they select the first option, the slime character can only move right unless it bounces off a wall or other object. In 2 Players mode, Player 1's character initially moves right and Player 2's left.
A level starts with the character or characters on a platform that looks like a horizontal, cylindrical roll of multi-colored candy. The player must direct their character to jump off the platform or bounce off walls to reach other platforms and eventually a black-and-white checkered finish platform and flag. On some levels, they must direct it to slide across platforms covered in ice. Their goal is to never allow the character to fall into the water below the platforms. Common obstacles include staggered surfaces, gaps and balls.
Blumgi Slime offers special items for the character if the player is willing to view ads.
