Block Combo Blast is an endless block puzzle game. On an 8x8 board that features a dark blue and purple theme, the player creates and destroys eight-block horizontal and vertical lines using polyomino shapes on a grid of empty cells. Their goals are to play as long as possible and earn a high score. If they lose the game at any time, they then attempt to beat their last score. After multiple losses, they try to beat their highest score across all games.
The player earns the most points in the upper-center area when they create and destroy lines in a streak of consecutive actions or at one time with one move. In either scenario, they set up the partial lines by dragging shapes onto the empty grid cells. They must use all three shapes in a set before the game provides them with more shapes.
Block Combo Blast increases the points and flashes a vibrant color on the screen with each line formation and removal. If the player loses, the game supplies their last score as tiny numbers in the upper-left corner.
