Block Blasty Saga is a block puzzle game. In two modes (Classic and Adventure), the player creates lines of columns and rows on grids using single blocks and multi-block polyomino shapes. Their goals are to earn coins and points and complete tasks.
In Classic mode, the player uses sets of three pieces at a time to create lines and earn the highest score ever in an endless game. In Adventure mode, also known as Arcade Mode, the player creates lines to collect different gemstones embedded in blocks or reach a specific score goal.
Each set of pieces presented below the board might include one or more single blocks, or monominoes, shapes made of two or more blocks, or a mix. During the initial training session, the game misleads the player by replacing a used piece immmediately, which doesn't happen during gameplay. Instead, the player must move all three pieces to the grid before they receive another set.
Block Blasty Saga attempts to distract the player by making blocks float upward on a gradient pink and blue backdrop during play.
This game rewards the player with higher points for combination moves in which they create line after line without disruption. Additionally, they can acquire more coins from a daily reward and a lucky spin wheel.
