Blastify 2, stylized Blastify II, is a tile-matching game similar to Bubble: Pop Balloons, Halloween Monster Puzzle, Melodic Tiles, Tiles of the Simpsons, and Sea Diamonds Challenge. It features elements that are also similar to block puzzles and match-3 games, but without the requirement of matching at least three tiles or blocks at a time. Instead, the player blasts away two or more matching adjoining blocks. Their goal is to complete tasks displayed near the top-left corner of the screen. They also attempt to earn coins and up to three stars per level.
On an 8x8-walled board filled with bubble-like colored blocks, the player makes selections. After the game removes selected blocks, the gaps fill with new ones from above the board. The player can track their star progress and remaining moves above the play area, along with the number of earned coins.
Blastify 2 offers four primary boosters below the board. The player unlocks these tools over time. Boosters help the player deal with challenges and obstacles. For example, the game tasks the player with matching blocks to pop balloons, break boxes, turn on and destroy light bulbs, and release trapped boosters and coins. To complete these challenges, they might also use a hammer booster to remove a block or a dice booster to reshuffle the blocks.
The game rewards the player with a gift box after they complete a certain number of levels. They might receive a gift that contains free coins, boosters or both. They can purchase additional moves and boosters with their coins.
