Black Cat Stacking POP is a connect-style game. A cat needs the player's help to reveal a gallery of cat photos covered with white tiles. The player can only remove the tiles by matching and collecting an equal number of stacked multi-colored ones on a board.
On the tile-matching screen, the game displays the board at the center, the number of available moves in the upper-left corner, and tasks on a stack of note paper tacked above the board's left corner. The player can track their score in the upper-center area and coin winnings above the board's right corner.
The top tile always displays the number of tiles in a stack. When the player selects a tile, all adjacent and connected color-matched ones in left, right, up, down and diagonal positions merge at the selection point.
The game auto-counts the tiles and then subtracts the total number from the number shown on the top task sheet. When the player collects all needed tiles, the game peels off the paper to reveal the next task and rewards them with an extra move.
If the player merges a large number of tiles with one move, mice randomly remove and collect additional ones. During a 100+ merge, the player receives a 100-tile bonus.
Black Cat Stacking POP allows the player to access three boosters below the board with their coins during future games. They can pay the cat to randomly swat away tiles with its paw, rearrange all tiles into optimal positions by color, and collect random tiles without using a move.
When the player reveals cat photos in the gallery, they receive a score bonus percentage that applies to their next game. They also earn extra coins.
