Battle Arena: Heroes Adventure is a timed fighting game with arena, adventuring and training elements. The player leads a squad of heroes against demons that have invaded the land. Their goals are to win battles, collect equipment and items, improve the abilities and skills of each squad member, and free the land of evil.
The player starts in an unlocked region in Normal mode. Over time, they receive access to Hard and Expert level battles. The game walks them through the major steps of selecting, equipping, and leveling up their heroes. After battles, the player can access a leather satchel that contains objects they acquired or won, such as equipment, scrolls, quantums, items, fragments and runes.
The squad contains Tanks, Killers, Support and Healers. Tanks represent characters that have a lot of brute force and strength. Killers have additional skills like knife throwing. Support is typically archers and mages. Healers use their talents to improve everyone's health. If the player doesn't fill all five squad slots, they can hire a hero.
Battle Arena: Heroes Adventure offers seemingly endless mini-games and side quests. For example, the player can direct one hero to fight enemies in tower stages in a mini-game similar to Hero Wars. They can train their heroes in a floating arena to unlock other arenas and PvP play. They can also unlock and explore dungeons and join alliances.
The game rewards the player with coins, gemstones, equipment and various objects at the end of battles and in chests. The player can also claim rewards for completing introductory tasks, daily tasks and quests.
