Basketball Kings 2022 is a sports click-tap game that challenges the player to become the king of four basketball courts by making amazing shots. The player throws the ball through a hoop and net as many times as possible before a purple horizontal bar timer at the top center of the screen runs out of time. If they perform well, they unlock four categories of courts (Hall, Street, Cyberpunk and Beach) and 20 new balls (five balls per court).
The player starts in the Hall court, which looks like a classic gymnasium or sports arena court. The other three courts are all located outside. The game presents them with near-realistic details.
The purple timer doesn't start until the player makes their first successful shot. They must rapidly make new shots by clicking or tapping the screen repeatedly.
The game makes each shot more difficult by randomly changing the location of the backboard, hoop and net. It moves the equipment from the left side of the court to the right side and up and down. It also doesn't always throw a fresh ball onto the court from the same spot. It might toss or bounce a ball from either side or a higher or lower height.
Basketball Kings 2022 displays the highest points from any play next to a trophy at the top-left corner of the screen. The player can access new courts and balls via buttons on the home screen.
