Barrel Roller is a racing game in the rush subcategory. The player must direct barrels across levels down race courses floating on peaceful seas of calm, rippling water toward rainbow-colored multiplier stairs and a finish point that offers a treasure chest. Their goal is to bypass obstacles, collect additional barrels, floating diamonds and other rewards and tools, and reach the chest.�
The player receives two barrels during their first race. They can only direct the pair to move center or outward simultaneously. While they direct the barrels through objects for their benefit, they also direct the pair to bypass obstacles. For example, they might make the barrels roll along narrow paths around a gap that drops down to the ocean or onto green platforms that bounce the barrels into the air over these threats.
Extra pairs of barrels stack up. Each multiplier step removes a pair. As a result, the player must collect enough barrels to go up the stairs or start over. They can also skip a level with 250 diamonds.
The game allows the player to add extra barrels with diamonds or by watching ads, but they must perform these actions before starting a race. One extra barrel pair costs 20 diamonds the first time. With each usage, the cost goes up.�
Barrel Roller rewards the player with 500 diamonds in the chests. When they access new levels, they receive changes in the time of day and colors used in each one. The race courses also become more difficult with longer tracks that feature a higher number of obstacles.
