Balls: Cifrobus is a connect-style 2048 game. The player uses connecting lines to merge numbered balls to complete tasks, reach the highest score possible, and earn enough coins to perform theme upgrades.
The player starts with numbered balls in rows against a white background. They must initially prove their understanding of the game by completing a specific task. They then attempt to repeatedly evolve adjacent identical numbered balls to form higher-numbered ones via connecting line merges.
Although Balls: Cifrobus allows the player to merge more than two balls with one connecting line, it only doubles the value of two at a time. For example, if the player draws a line across three 16 balls, they create a single 32 ball. If they merge four balls with one move, they create a 64 ball. The last connection point is where the new ball forms on the background. The gaps created by the disappearance of the merged balls fill with new balls that drop into place from above.
The score appears above a horizontal progress bar in the upper area. When the player earns gold coins, a pop-out tab appears on the left side. They receive the coins as winnings at the end of each level, daily rewards, and ad view prizes. Coins randomly appear on the shapes as well.
The game provides the player initially with a timed double the reward option for free when they collect coins from merged balls. They must watch ads to use it after the first time. The coins allow them to buy new background and ball skin colors. They can also transform the balls to play with other shapes. If they perform merges seven days in a row, they receive a free theme upgrade.
