Balls 98 in a Row Super is a bubble-popping game that features play similar to the Connect Four game. On an 8x12 board, the player aligns matching bubble balls in horizontal, vertical and diagonal positions. Their goals are to keep playing and earn points for as long as possible.
The game initially displays a board that contains three colored bubble balls and empty spots marked by dots. The player repositions a ball by selecting it and then a dot. The game goes faster if they turn off the step-tracking process above the board. Once the player completes a step, the ball moves automatically to its new position. The game also adds a set of three balls below the board to random spaces on it.
The player continues to rearrange the balls to create lines of four or more matching balls that the game then pops. They must continue to make four-ball lines without allowing the board to fill up with the bubbles placed on it by the game from the below-board sets.
Balls 98 in a Row Super displays the current and record scores in the topmost center area, the reload and undo move buttons in the upper-left area, and the sound and top-ranked score buttons in the upper-right area. It rewards the most points when the player creates multiple three-ball lines and then finishes each one with a fourth ball to form an uninterrupted streak.
