ASMR Sorting is a sorting game that features an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) element. The player's primary objective is to sort items from different rooms into storage areas.
Although the game might cause a player to feel contentment and relaxation from various sorting, organization and tidying actions, the background music might also irritate them. For a better ASMR experience, the player should consider turning off the game's music and sound.
No matter their decision, the steps the player takes to win each level are the same. In a room that has items scattered everywhere, such as beauty products, fashion accessories, or personal electronics, they must place each item correctly in boxes, drawers and sectional trays, on shelves, and in other spots.
ASMR Sorting offers the player two types of hints to help them win. They can use a lower-left corner light bulb icon to see a hint. In some rooms, the game also provides shadow outlines on surfaces that they can match to specific objects.
The player must place each item with precision or fail a level. As a result, they might need to reposition an item several times before it locks into place in an upright position.
In some areas, the player might not place an object in storage at all. Instead, they might drop it into a nearby trash can.
