ASMR Cubes! is a block-sorting game that features directional arrow play similar to the parking lot subcategory of sorting games. To the sounds of positive, relaxing music, the player removes arrow-marked cubes from a level to unlock the next one. Eventually, they also unlock three helpful booster tools below the blocks.
The game presents the player with the cubes in a recognizable pixel-style pattern, such as a heart. The player can only remove unblocked cubes. For example, if a cube has an arrow pointing right, the player can only remove it if another cube isn't on the adjacent right side or right path. As a result, they typically remove edge pieces first. When they remove a cube correctly, they reveal a gray dot. At the end of the level, all the gray dots sink into the grid.
ASMR Cubes! increases the number of cubes over time. It also makes the patterns more complex by adding new colored cubes. The player can reduce their stress effortlessly by zooming in and out and sliding the grid around for a better view of the directional arrows on the unblocked cubes. If they accidentally select a blocked cube, they're not penalized. The cube that takes the impact merely turns red briefly.
