Arrow Challenge is a running game with an arrow as an avatar instead of a humanoid character. The player must defeat knights wearing black armor and red-plumed helms on platforms at the end of an obstacle-course track. They need arrows to use as weapons.
The player starts with one arrow. As it flies automatically down the track, they direct it through green addition and multiplication gates to increase the number. They also direct the arrow and later arrows away from similar red gates that decrease the number. When they direct an arrow through a +10 gate, for example, the number of arrows flying down the track switches from one to a stack of 11 arrows. If they direct those 11 arrows through a double multiplier gate, they increase the number to 22. Conversely, if they accidentally direct the arrows through a negative five gate, the number of arrows drops to six.
The speed of the arrows increases rapidly in some levels to make gameplay more challenging. If the player's arrows reach the final black knight, they receive a treasure chest filled with coins and a smiley emoji.
Arrow Challenge rewards the player's efforts with coins that they can then use to level up the number of arrows from the start of the run. For example, they might increase the number from one to three. The player can also level up the coins rewarded per level.
