Amazing Spider Solitaire is a card game based on classic Spider rules. The player must recreate the eight legs of a spider with standard playing cards.
On the home screen, the player can choose one, two or four suits. One suit provides the easiest sorting experience. The player also receives four additional difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard and Random).
The game displays 10 central columns of face-up and face-down cards and a lower-right, five-turn draw pile. The player sorts and repositions single cards and partial builds to form eight King (K) to Ace (A) descending-order columns. They also attempt to earn a high score in the upper-center area and perform all tasks as quickly as possible to achieve a low time in the upper-right timer area.
Although the draw pile can help with builds, the player must use caution early in the game because the cards can block their partial builds and make forming the legs more difficult. They should use these stock cards after they've flipped most of the column cards and formed the upper royal card portion (K, Q, J and 10) of several legs.
Amazing Spider Solitaire offers the player hint, undo and redo button tools in the lower-right corner. The hint button outlines two usable cards with yellow flashing light. The player can undo a previous move or return a card to a previous position with the other buttons.
The lower-left area provides a new game option. The player can also review their statistics over time and select different designs for the cards and background.
