2048 Hexa Blocks Fusion is a block game in the 2048 merge subcategory. In four modes, the player merges numbered hexagon-shaped blocks on fields that feature five honeycomb-style columns. Their goal is to create new higher-numbered blocks.
The game's modes (i.e., Classic, Enhanced, Enhanced Master and Adventure) offer similar play. The player drops numbered blocks one by one from a line above the columns by selecting any honeycomb cell. When two identical blocks come into contact on any of the six sides, the blocks merge up, down, or to either side toward the drop-selection point chosen by the player.
All matching adjacent blocks become part of the merge. After the new block forms, any adjacent matching ones auto-merge with it to create an even higher-numbered block. When applicable, any blocks above gaps drop into new positions.
With the Classic, Enhanced and Enhanced Master modes, the player attempts to earn the most points in the upper-center area. They can also merge three or more blocks, which doubles the value of all remaining blocks resting in column cells. That said, Classic mode doesn't offer special blocks or coin winnings, while Enhanced and Enhanced Master allow these options.
The Adventure Mode offers more complex play and the best way to win the most coins. Across levels, the player completes tasks that replace the score in the upper-center area, such as forming specific blocks and destroying stone blocks. They can use an ad view option on a pop-up more than once before a level to multiply the potential winnings.
2048 Hexa Blocks Fusion has boosters below the columns in all modes, which is extremely helpful in Adventure Mode if the task involves a limited number of moves. The player can use a hammer to remove an unwanted block, arrows to swap positions of two blocks, and double or halve the value of a block.
