2048: Blocks Destruction is a brick-breaking game that features 2048, bubble shooter and pinball elements. On an upside-down pinball-style table that features two-tone purple checkerboard baize and a left-side tube, the player uses a cannon to fire numbered, bouncy, colored balls at blocks and other shapes. Their goals are to play as long as possible and earn a high score.
Every shape appears from the bottom of the table with a number printed on it. The number on a ball equals the number of points subtracted from a shape's number during a hit. The player must prevent the shapes from sliding to the top of the table. They use a dotted targeting line to help them align each shot.
After the player fires the cannon, the balls bounce around repeatedly. When the number on a shape reaches zero, the shape disappears from the table. The balls return to the tube automatically. That said, the player can also force the balls to stop bouncing and return by selecting a Collect button.
The merge element of 2048: Blocks Destruction occurs in the part of the tube closest to the cannon. In this area, two matching side-by-side balls merge to create a higher-numbered one. Balls with high numbers destroy shapes faster.
The game offers four boosters below the table that include a cannonball bomb, a magnet and a swap option. For example, with the bomb, the player can destroy several numbered blocks with one hit. With the magnet, they can pull the shapes back toward the bottom of the screen. With the swap tool, they can rearrange the balls into more optimal merge positions.
