2048 Ball Buster is a timed merge game based on classic 2048 that offers the player unique gameplay experiences. The player drops and merges pairs of colored balls marked with matching numbers inside a container to create higher-numbered balls. They must perform this task before a lower-left side timer runs out of time.
That said, the game distributes the play across levels. Each level features a container similar to ones found in Suika (i.e., Watermelon) games. In one of these containers, the player loses the game if they allow unmatched balls to stack up too high close to the top.�
Yet, 2048 Ball Buster also has a fun level transition. The bottom of each container has closed wooden gates and a high-numbered ball attached to a ring. When the player creates a ball with a number that matches it, the gates open and drop all the balls into another enclosed container that represents the next level.
The player also collects stars from some merges. When they collect five stars, they can claim a tool that can help them perform actions faster. For example, they might claim a hammer that removes an unmatched ball from the container to prevent a pile-up or a magnet that randomly merges two balls. To use these tools at any time via lower-right cards, they must view ads.
Lastly, the player charges a blue lightning bolt with energy at the upper-right side over time. When it's charged completely, they randomly receive a tool, such as three beach balls that double the number of any ball. They can recharge faster by watching videos.
