11+11 Bloxx, sometimes titled 11x11 Blocks, is a block-puzzle game that features an 11x11 board instead of a 10x10 one. The player's objective is to transfer multi-colored polyomino shapes to the board to earn coins and points by creating 11-block rows and columns. When they're successful, the game removes the lines. The player then continues to place shapes until they run out of space.
The board consists of dark, purplish-blue blocks that form a multi-shaded checkerboard. Unlike the majority of similar 10x10 games, the board displays different patterns over 12 levels. The patterns are made of blocks that act like immovable stones. With these blocks in place, the player can't make 11-block lines on the board. That said, the game treats the smaller lines the same and automatically removes them and assigns coins and points.
The player must complete one level to unlock another. Although they can remove one line at a time, they receive higher points for combination moves that involve removing multiple lines simultaneously.
11+11 Bloxx enhances block-puzzle play in several ways. The player can use the coins they earn to buy powerups that help them play longer by opening more space on the board. They can swap two blocks, remove a block, remove several blocks based on type, and remove a specific number of blocks. The game reveals these power-up options when the player runs out of moves. They can also access and buy power-ups by using the lightning bolt button.
Lastly, the player can use their coins to buy different types of blocks, including round blocks, blocks with stripes and flat tiles.
