They start by clicking a pixelated red button with a gray base at the center of the screen. They're initially told the number of clicks they need before they can reroll invisible dice to make the game randomly select special cards that supply rewards similar to boosters.
The player buys these cards after a reroll to improve their earning capabilities. For example, they might buy a card that improves their chance of receiving access to better cards or increases the number of coins they earn per click or the percentage of clicking power.
It's important to note that 1000 Clicks 2 isn't as idle as many similar games. The player must actually click the button 1,000 times to finish the game. They then replay as many times as they like to discover cards they didn't access in the previous game and beat their last best score.
