When you first log on to the candy connect web page on the left side of the screen, there is a list of other games that are available to play. On the right side of the screen, there is an advertisement and three other games available to be played. On the bottom of the screen, there is a host of different games that can be accessed and one advertisement. The candy connect game screen is purplish, with a small box inside the game screen showing multiple other colored candies. There is a play button to start the game underneath this box. On the bottom of the candy connect game screen, it reads candy connect new.
Once the play button is hit on the candy connect game, two advertisements will be displayed before the game is displayed. Once the game comes on, the player will see a purple screen with candy connect written across it in big letters and carnival music playing. Once you hit play, you will then start playing the game. The object of the game is to match the candies that are side by side and the same. Once you match the candies, you'll get points and the two candies will disappear creating an open space. There is a link that allows the player to dispatch new candies to fill the open spaces.
When the open spaces are filled in it also allows more of the same candies to be placed side-by-side so they can be matched and more candies can be dispensed. A player can distribute candies up to five times during a game. The player has 6 minutes to match as many candies as they can or to clear the screen. A quick note: the candies do not have to be side-by-side to be matched. As long as there are no other candies of a different type between or above the candies, they can be matched from a distance and all different angles.
